Solution for utility service measuring - Vip mobile presents innovative smart counter system

Vip mobile is ready to offer a package of solutions of Telekom Austria Group for smart consumption measuring to Austrian companies providing utility services. The solutions are based on M2M (Machine to Machine) communication, the mobile operator announced on Friday, October 17, 2014.

As it was stated in the announcement, the solution was presented at the international conference, of Telekom Austria Group, on business sale, held in Belgrade, October 15-17.

Smart counters are devices which automatically record electricity or gas consumptions in regular intervals which is the basis for efficient energy management.

With combined recording of electricity consumption and production level, smart counters provide a wide range of additional information such as consumption interval measuring.

The final objective of this new technology is to reach bigger transparency and promote energy savings which is useful for electricity suppliers and end users.

Having in mind planned installation of smart counters in Serbia, the offer has significant market value, Vip mobile states.
