Shandong Preparing Technical Documentation for Belgrade-Zrenjanin Highway Section – Beginning of Construction Possible by End-Year

In addition to building a road section from Belgrade to Valjevo, Shandong is also preparing the technical documentation for the Belgrade-Zrenjanin highway section, the Government of Serbia announced.

According to the estimate of the Minister of Construction of Serbia, Tomislav Momirovic, and representatives of the Chinese company, the works on the Belgrade-Zrenjanin section might start by the end of 2021.

The general manager of Shandong’s branch in Serbia, Zhang Jianchao, said that the company was interested in participating not just in carrying out road projects, but also in financing other investments important for Serbia.
